About Ivy

More than 12 years caring for her own dogs, and a home opened to yours.

Ivy sharing a happy moment with a dog

For more than 12 years, Ivy’s life has been filled with the love of three Golden Retrievers and a Labrador. Her first Golden Retriever passed away at just over three years old from kidney failure. Her other three boys lived to between nine and twelve, before passing from age or illness. Each left a lasting place in her heart.

When her dearest Duke passed away on 27 June 2026, Ivy found herself drawn to a new purpose: giving other families’ dogs the same love and attention she had always given her own. She began offering homeboarding, daycare and dog walking in July 2026.

After 32 years in the financial industry, most recently as a private banker, Ivy took early retirement in October 2026. She chose to dedicate this next chapter to what brings her joy: caring for dogs.

Today, she opens her home to dogs of every size and age. There are never more than three guests at a time, and no dog is left alone during their stay. For Ivy, this is personal. Every dog is treated like one of her own children.
